I take breast implant safety seriously. I use smooth implants for the vast majority of my patients. I will discuss BIA-ALCL, breast implant illness, and what the evidence shows honestly at your consultation. Informed consent means genuinely informed.

Q: How long do breast implants last?

Many patients keep their implants for 15 to 20 years without issue. They are not lifetime devices but do not have a mandatory replacement timeline.

Q: Do I need a lift with my augmentation?

If your nipple position has descended below the crease beneath your breast, you likely need a lift. I will assess your anatomy honestly at your consultation and recommend only what you actually need.

Q: What is the recovery like?

Most patients return to desk work within 1 week. Light exercise resumes by weeks 4 to 6. Lifting restrictions apply for the first 4 to 6 weeks.
